First, I wanted to be able to teach at the same school that my boys were at. Second, I wanted to be part of a school that strives to teach its student how to love learning and to be a light to the world around them. Philosophy of teaching: I love math, and I love to show kids that math is everywhere in God's creation. Too often math is thought of as a necessary evil, and I want to dispel that myth. Philosophy of teaching: My philosophy of teaching is rooted in Proverbs 9:10, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom..." Since God is the source of all truth, seeking Him is the goal of education. Christian virtue and a good understanding of God's creation will be its fruits. Hobbies: gardening, music
